Position: Lead Bicycle Mechanic
Location: Kingston, Ontario
Type: Part-time (24-32 hours per week), with the potential for full-time
Starting Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of skilled bicycle mechanics, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Technical Expertise: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of bicycle mechanics, including repairs, maintenance, and customizations.
Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, offering expert advice on bike repairs, upgrades, and maintenance.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, ensuring proper stock levels for essential parts and accessories.
Training and Development: Train and mentor junior mechanics, facilitating continuous learning and skill enhancement.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bicycle mechanic, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
In-depth knowledge of various bicycle types, components, and industry trends.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for cycling and a customer-centric mindset.
