Position: Bike Mechanic
Job Description: As AO’s Bike Mechanic you will become a crucial part of our team, using your skills and knowledge to provide our customers with a great experience every time they walk through our doors. You will use your skills in our full-service bike repair shop and retail operations where you will build retail bikes out of the box, maintaining a fleet of rental bikes, inspecting and diagnosing repairs, (dis)assembling bikes and replacing parts, as well as participating in
You are a skilled and reliable mechanic, who can help us to maintain our customer and rental bikes and take responsibility for ensuring that each piece of equipment you work on is maintained to our standards. Your 2+ years’ experience working in a Bike or Shop Tech role will give you the confidence to provide advice and problem solve equipment maintenance and repair needs.
On the soft skill side, you will be as good with people as you are with your hands. You will be personable and exhibit the confidence to provide sound advice and quality service to our customers to help maximize their enjoyment! This is a service role so you must be willing and able to all required shifts (days, weekends and some evenings, year-round).
